Amazing things are happening...

We are turning wastelands into art, filling the streets with music and boldly being ourselves. Refining play, keeping it alive in all life phases, in our own ways - seeing the world as a hoola hoop, hackey sack, juggling, circus arena with no boundaries.

Wide eyed with wonder, open and ready for anything we wander the world.

As we wake up we remember the importance of our fundamental connection to nature, and re learn how to joyfully live lightly on this planet.

We stamp our feet and define our roles. We learn to lead the the world forward with strength, fluidity, light and ease.

So tell me, what is it you plan do with your one wild and precious life?

Lighting Fires

Lighting Fires' is a workshop for 18 and 19 year old's in transition, collaboratively designed and run by inspiring people in their twenties who have experience in group facilitation, who have travelled widely and are on interesting life pathways.

Creative expression, adventure, nature connection, reflection and good conversation fills our days together together as we look at who we are as individuals and as young people in the context of a changing world. We explore and design meaningful  next steps and future life choices together as young people.

During this workshop we will look to answer questions like:

  • what lights us up, what sparks our fires.
  • How do our current ideas contribute towards long term
  • dreams and visions?
  • In what way can we as young people collaborate to make our
  • ideas happen?
  • What sort of support do we need? and from whom?
  • What volunteering, interesting education ideas and 'outside the box' opportunities are out there for us?

If you are aged 18 or 19 years old and you are looking for inspiration in what to do in your life or you are in your twenties and would like to help run a Lighting Fires workshop please contact us.

If you are interested in us running this course at your centre/school/organisation for your young people please contact Amelia Parisian via this website.

These courses take place at the Asha centre on the edge of woods in the Forest of Dean, Glouscestershire, in an idyllic setting with comfortable shared rooms.
